The original Bubbie Book was created soon after my daughter was born. My wife and I wanted to raise her in a phone-free environment for as long as we could, but we still needed to stay connected with work, friends and family. So I cut the pages out of an old childrens book, added some magnets to the back cover, and the first Bubbie Book was born. Now if I had to use my phone in front of my daughter, she saw me engaging with something we wanted her to be interested in (a book), rather than a phone. This simple hack kept her from seeing a phone and kept me from feeling guilty! 

I sincerely hope that Bubbie Book helps parents, grandparents, caregivers, (anyone really) give the next generation of little ones the gift of a phone-free world for as long as possible.
